At the beginning of the month, end of October – beginning of November, ITA had the privilege of receiving very gifted pastor Ty Blackburn from Atlanta, Georgia in its midst for a conference celebrating Luther and the Reformation. Shepherd the Flock at the Bible Church of Messina chose to concentrate on the topic of Luther’s pastoral care. Profoundly thankful for pastor Blackburn’s messages on a rather unique aspect of Luther’s life: Luther as a shepherd of the flock. Attendees were blessed to see the more pastoral side of Luther rather than the more familiar image of him as the foremost reformer.
